Once the clay master sculpt
is finished the next step in the
production process is to
generate a "resin prototype".
In this phase the surface of
the figure is smoothed out giving
a more finished look. It is also
at this stage where the joints
are established and separated.
The following images are of the resin prototype for our Panzer Ace robot. The factory sent it over for our approval and then sent back so that it can be used to generate the wax model in the tooling phase of the production process.
